Brest hosted a New Year ball for talented young people

On December 22 the second New Year Ball of the talented students from Brest region was held in Brest.
The honor to become a participant of the festivity was awarded to 40 young people, including students of Polessky State University: Alina Turkievich, Anastasia Belousova, Vladislav Gorba and Maxim Meshechko. Each of them has already achieved significant success - in studies, creativity, sports and social life.
The students of Polessky State University, as the hosts of the Youth Capital - 2020, congratulated all the guests on the coming New Year and presented a symbolic gift to Gennady Borisyuk, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

The bison, which was the accent of the composition, symbolizes wisdom, strength and steadfastness of the Belarusian people who have gone through a lot for the sake of their identity.

According to the old ball etiquette, the holiday was opened with a solemn marching dance - polonaise.
Among the dancers we could see the guests of honor of the ball - the rector of the Technical University Alexander Bakhanovich, director of the memorial complex "Brest Fortress-Hero" Grigory Bysyuk, deputy military commissar of the region, Colonel Yuri Samoshuk.

The dance evening program also included waltz, padekatr, padegrass, midnight quadrille. At the end of the evening all participants received New Year gifts.
