On September 9, 2020, a methodological seminar for new projects of the Erasmus + program was held, organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Belarus. Project managers from Polessky State University also took part in the seminar. Shtepa Vladimir Nikolaevich, Dean of the Engineering  Faculty of Polessky State University presented the project “CLIMAN” 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2- CBHE-JP NL: “The synergy relevance of the educational, scientific and managerial components of climate management in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus”. Part of the project, which will be carried out by our university with active use of the functionality of the Science and Technology Park Polesye Technopark, Ltd., is to establish a consulting center for climate management and ensuring its sustainable development. The educational component of the project will allow introducing advanced educational practices in the management of environmental safety of diverse facilities in the training of specialists in the economic profile of PolesSU. This will allow students and teachers of the university to analyze the experience of implementing educational and practical activities on climate management in the best world centers. We will also hold a number of high-profile events in Pinsk: international and regional conferences and seminars, an international summer school for young scientists and experts.
   Within the framework of the project “DUAL” 618513-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2- CBHE-SP: “Promoting the development of dual education in Belarusian higher education”, coordinated by a German partner, it is planned to develop curricula and dual education programs for implementation of practice-oriented training of PolesSU students. The objectives of the project are: to develop a national concept for the introduction of dual educational programs in Belarus and to implement a pilot project to introduce mechanisms of dual education in Belarusian universities.
   During the seminar, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate, Head of the Higher Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Elena Adolfovna Lipa noted that Polessky State University has all necessary potential, namely: a modern material and technical base, industry scientific laboratories, the use of advanced scientific technologies for the implementation of the declared international projects.
   The projects will start in January, 2021.
