Foreign training of a tutor of the Historical and Cultural Heritage Department at the Pomeranian Academy

On December 2-6, 2019 Sergey A. Demyanov, a senior lecturer of the Historical and Cultural Heritage Department, undertook a training at the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk, Poland. The training was supervised by: the Director of the Institute, PhD in Hab., Professor Ivona Jazevic and Ph in Geography, Professor Ivan Pirozhnik. Within the framework of the training Demyanov S.A. got acquainted with the peculiarities of training of students of the specialty "Tourism and recreation". According to the results of the theoretical part of the training at the expanded meeting of the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Tourism of the Pomeranian Academy a credit lecture on the theme "Integration of the tourist market of Belarus into the world tourist space" was successfully held for the faculty staff and students. In the course of the training the experience of studying the tourist and gastronomic potential of the coastal resort of Ustka and a major tourist center of Poland – Gdansk was studied. Demyanov S.A. acquainted employees of the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Tourism with the requirements of the journal "Tourism and Hospitality", published at Polessky State University, as well as with the activities of the Historical and Cultural Heritage Department. The prospects of closer cooperation in the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk and Polessky State University were also discussed.
