International Week of Central Banks in Hachenburg, Germany

From April 5th to 14th, 2019, students of the Banking Faculty, as well as students from Poland, Ukraine and China, participated in seminars and workshops on the International Week of Central Banks. 

During this week, the functioning of the system of central banks as a whole was examined, in contrast with the European Union and the National Bank of Germany in particular, and the role of central banks in the economic sphere was studied. Our students got acquainted with the macroprudential policy and discussed the prospects for the development of this policy in the financial and monetary sphere. 

In addition to seminars, excursions to the cities of Cologne, Limburg, Koblens and Frankfurt were organized for students, where they were able to visit the central bank and the money museum.
