The 17th European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology was held in Warsaw (Poland) from June 5th till 8th, 2019. More than six hundred scientists from universities and research centers in 75 countries, including Polessky State University participated in the event. Vlasova S.V., vice-rector, PhD, Associate Professor was the representative of Polessky State University. The Congress program included plenary sessions, symposia in various areas of neurophysiology, educational courses and practical seminars in English. S.V.

Pinsk Invest Weekend-12 was organized on the basis of Polessky State University on May 31, 2019!

On May 30-31, the second business forum was held in Polessky State University. The technological platform of the forum is the industrial cluster of innovations in the field of biotechnology and the green economy. 

The forum included innovation project presentations. The university presented projects on water purification technologies, aquaponics and growing Pavlovnia, which is a new tree for our region. 

Polessky State University met the “Flame of Peace” of the II European Games on May 15th, 2019.

Olga Fedorovna Zhilevich, Associate Professor of Linguistics and Business Communications Department took part in the work of the 3rd International Conference of English tutors “Inspiriŋ tə Sɔ:” on April 13-14, 2019 in Minsk. The event was organized by the International School of English International House.

On April 9^th, an open seminar was held at the Healthy Life Organization Faculty: “Frustration of a mature personality and behavior in medical and educational practice”. The seminar was prepared by full-time and part-time students of the 3^rd course from groups number 16PRE-1, 16PRE-1z under the guidance of A.P.

The Business School of PolesSU took place on April 11^th, 2019. Brentsevich Tatiana Viktorovna, Chairman of the Economy Committee of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, was the guest and moderator of the workshop. 

Tatyana Viktorovna told the students about the structure of the national economy of the Republic of Belarus, about the role of the state in developing plans for the economic development of the country and the main indicators of economic growth, about the experience of industrial enterprises and tourism. 

On Thursday, April 11^th, 2019 the start-up lesson “Start-School PolesSU” was held in Minsk, project developers at Pinsk Invest Weekend-12 were among the active participants. 

The students visited the largest in Belarus international English-speaking startup conference Venture day Minsk, which annually brings together the founders of start-ups, talented developers, investors and international speakers at one venue. 

From April 7^th to 12^th the Faculty of Economics hosted the participants of the International School of Economics “Introduction to the Economy”. Students and tutors from Poland, Ukraine, Armenia took part in this school.

The main purpose of the visit is to discuss the students exchange program within the universities - participants of the International School.

From April 5^th to 14^th, 2019, students of the Banking Faculty, as well as students from Poland, Ukraine and China, participated in seminars and workshops on the International Week of Central Banks.
