Polessky State University hosted a meeting of the course participants with the senior assistant of the Pinsk Interdistrict Prosecutor Elena V. Gordeyko, as well as Deputy of the 2nd Investigation Department of the Pinsk Interdistrict Branch of the Investigative Committee of the Republic Belarus, lieutenant colonel of justice Sergey V. Korotsevich. The meeting was held as a part of the advanced training courses titled "Mechanisms and tools for managing educational and ideological work in higher education establishments" on 16 February.
Elena V. Gordeyko dwelled on the types of corruption crimes and ways to combat corruption. Issues of corruption in educational establishments, as well as ways and methods of its prevention in higher education establishments. The specialist highlighted forming anti-corruption behavior via extracurricular work.
Sergey V. Korotsevich told about crimes in drug trafficking, schemes for drug trafficking using the Internet. Sergey V. Korotsevich emphasized the exceptional importance of preventing drug addiction among young people. They still remain the most vulnerable group, both in terms of drug use and drug trafficking.
