On December 20, 2024, Polessky State University hosted a winter ball with the participation of cadets and young officers of the Pinsk Border Guard detachment, as well as cadets of the Institute of the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Belarus. Valery Ivanovich Dunay, Rector of Polessky State University, delivered a welcoming speech to the audience.
More than three dozen couples took the dance floor. The ball was opened by a solemn polonaise dance. A master class in gallop, quadrille, padegras, and figure waltz was held for the young people. The participants of the ball performed all the movements beautifully and diligently.
At the end of the ball, the King and Queen of the student ball were chosen, they were Vlad Trushko and Diana Demyanovich.
The winners received gifts from the trade union organization of PolesSU students, the Student Council of the University and the BRSM.
