The university cooperates with more than 90 foreign educational institutions and organizations from 12 countries: Russia, the People's Republic of China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, etc.
Several international conferences and seminars are held annually on the basis of the university. Among them are the International student scientific-practical conference "Scientific potential of youth for the future of Belarus", the International scientific-practical conference on banking economy issues "Banking system: sustainability and prospects of development", the International scientific-practical conference "Sustainable economic development: status, problems, prospects", the International scientific conference "Health for all".
PolesSU actively cooperates both in scientific and educational areas with universities of the Russian Federation. Among them: Penza State University, Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky, National State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Health named after P.F. Lesgaft and many others. Cooperation with educational institutions of the People's Republic of China - Yantai University and Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology is actively developing. Since 2021, PolesSU has been successfully implementing joint educational programs with the issuance of two diplomas (2+2) for undergraduate and (1+1) for master's programs with Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh (Uzbekistan).
In order to increase the competitiveness in the international market of educational services Polessky State University is a member of international associations: Association of Universities of Professional Education of the three north-eastern provinces and one region of China within the initiative "One Belt, One Road", Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities (EAPU), International Association of University Graduates of the Republic of Belarus (IAUPUZ).
