The PolesSU team took part in the XIV International Olympiad "World Wars in the History of Mankind", organized by Gomel State University named after F. Skorina. The event was held remotely. Our team included students who had already participated in the Olympiad twice in previous years. Maxim Memekh, a student of the Faculty of Engineering (22IT-2), is the permanent captain of the expert team. Mark Maksimuk participated in the Olympiad from the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle (22FRE-1). The Faculty of Economics and Finance was represented by Veronika Romanyuk, Marta Chaley and team debutante Elizaveta Garashchuk (22FBE-1). In total, 58 teams from 40 higher educational institutions from 8 countries participated in the Olympiad. The students had to show their knowledge of the history of the First and Second World Wars, and the speed and accuracy of the teams' responses were evaluated. Following the results of the international Olympiad, the PolesSU team received a diploma of the first degree.
