As part of the project "How not to become a victim of cybercriminals", Stanislav Antipov and Ignatiy Ulasovets, students of the Faculty of Engineering, majoring in Information Systems and Technologies, held a series of meetings with lyceum students of PolesSU and tenth grade students of secondary schools No. 11 and No. 15 in Pinsk on the topic "How not to fall for the tricks of scammers." The main purpose of the events is to raise the awareness of high school students about modern threats in cyberspace, as well as to teach the basic principles of digital security. It is worth remembering that scammers keep up with the time, and society is constantly improving its digital knowledge, learning more and more about social engineering and other methods of intruders. Therefore, the methods and means currently used by fraudsters to steal funds may soon become irrelevant. In any situation, you need to remain extremely attentive and thoroughly understand what is happening before you tell someone your personal information.
