From October 22 to December 10, 2024, the VI All-Russian Student Abstract Translation Competition with international participation was held. It was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages of the Yaroslavl State Technical University in cooperation with the All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the competition is to increase interest in learning foreign languages, attract attention to reading specialized literature in a foreign language and popularize advanced scientific and technical knowledge and achievements. Veronika Vasilyevna Sakovich, a student of the 21LMK-2 group, was awarded a diploma for the third place in the Economics nomination. O. F. Zhilevich, Head of the Department of Linguistics and Professional Communication, and L. A. Izotova, lecturer of the Department, who prepared the contestant, received letters of thanks.
