From February 22 to 23, the Republican Olympic Tennis Training Center hosted the Open Karate Championship and the Minsk Karate Championship. The competition was attended by athletes in the age categories: 14-15, 16-17 years and 18+ in the kata and kumite sections. In total, more than 250 athletes from all regions of our country participated in the championship! Roman Chimbur, a student of Polessky State University, took 1st place in the kumite category men 18+ up to 75 kg and rose to the highest step of the podium.
