On March 12, 2025, Polessky State University hosted a meeting with students from the Republic of Tajikistan studying under the academic mobility program (semester exchange) with the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini (Dushanbe) and the Levakant International Institute at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by: Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Igor Buchenkov, Head of the Department of International Relations Natalia Aksenchik, specialist of the Department of International Relations Elena Kievich, Head of the Department of Ideological and Educational Work Oksana Yarovich and teacher psychologist of the Department of Educational and Ideological work Alla Koroleva. Igor Eduardovich greeted the students, wishing them success in their studies and interesting new acquaintances. During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the organization of the educational process. The students learned about the new opportunities and shared their successes.
The semester exchange of students is the result of agreements reached within the framework of the III Forum of Rectors of Universities of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus "Education as the most important factor in strengthening bilateral ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus", which was attended by the Rector of PolesSU Dunai Valery Ivanovich on November 27-28, 2024.
