On March 14, 2025, the Republican Universiade in Weightlifting ended in Minsk. The team of Polessky State University successfully performed at the competitions. Dmitry Klimuk and Vladimir Gordeychuk, students of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization, in the weight category up to 51 kg and up to 61 kg took the 1st place and the highest step of the podium.
