On March 21, 2025, the Gomel Regional Social and Cultural Center hosted the opening ceremony of the republican holiday "Gomel — Youth Capital-2025". The symbolic key of the Youth Capital was presented by the Minister of Education Andrey Ivanovich Ivanets.
A plenary session of the III Republican Forum of University Curators was held in Gomel. PolesSU was represented by Natalia Korogvich, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization, and Maria Vorobyova, representative of SMU at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
The forum participants took part in trainings and intensive courses, expert discussions, as well as presentations and defense of the best competitive works. Vladislav Yurievich Likhota, Secretary for the Belarusian Union of Youth and Youth Workers, spoke at the presentation track "Initiatives of Youth Capitals" with the theme: "Pinsk: The Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus 2020".
Students of PolesSU had the opportunity to ask questions to Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus Igor Vasilyevich Karpenko within the framework of the project "Non-random meetings". Representatives of PolesSU as part of the student delegation took an active part in the foresight track "Neural networks as a tool for conducting social networks", which was held at the Coral Technopark.
