Daria Strok, a student of 22LMK-2 group, under the guidance of O.F. Zhilevich, Head of the Department of Linguistics and Professional Communication, and E.V. Piskun, senior lecturer, won a 2nd degree diploma in the Mirror of Words literary Translation competition from Chinese (BSU, Minsk). The main goals and objectives of the contest are: popularization of classical and modern Chinese literature; development of the practice of literary translation in Belarus; promotion of strengthening and development of cultural ties between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China.
