On April 11, a memorable date is celebrated all over the world – the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Nazi Concentration Camps. It was erected in memory of the international uprising of prisoners of the Buchenwald concentration camp, which took place on April 11, 1945.
Students of the Faculty of Engineering laid flowers at the memorial sign "In memory of the prisoners of the Nazi concentration camps", paying tribute to those who died during the Great Patriotic War. The participants of the action emphasized that preserving the memory of the victims of Nazism is not only a duty to the past, but also an important lesson for future generations. Only by remembering the heinous crimes against humanity can people prevent their recurrence. "Belarus remembers!" — these words remind us of the need to cherish the historical truth and appreciate the peace.
