On April 12, 2025, a republican clean-up day was held at Polessky State University. Rector Valery Ivanovich Dunai, Vice-rector for Ideological and educational work Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, vice-rector Andrey Konstantinovich Novik, teachers, staff and students of the university took part in the action. The republican clean–up day is a symbol of unity and collective work for the benefit of our country. This is an opportunity to create a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for living and working. Polessky State University maintains this tradition from year to year. The participants of the clean-up performed work on cleaning and landscaping the university grounds. Order was also restored at workplaces and at all university facilities.
