On May 8, on the eve of the Great Victory, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, rector of Polessky State University, Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, Vladislav Yurievich Likhota, Secretary for the BRSM, staff and students congratulated Serafima Aronovna Khusenskaya, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, on the upcoming holiday. Serafima Aronovna, with the rank of junior sergeant, fought in the 83rd Aviation Division. Among her awards is the medal "For the Victory over Japan", as well as the Gratitude of Joseph Stalin dated August 23, 1945 "For excellent combat actions in battles with the Japanese in the Far East."
