On May 10, 2025, the trade union organization of Polessky State University organized an ecological bike tour ”Road of Memory“ for the university staff, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
The bike ride began with a rally and a minute of silence at the monument to the "Three Machine Gunners" and the laying of flowers. The participants of the bike ride stopped at the legendary Tsarskaya Polyana. Here they were able to recuperate, having treated themselves to a hearty soup and soldiers' porridge from the field kitchen. Sports competitions were organized. In one of them (in figure cycling), the 1st place was taken by the assistant of the Department of PRSM Gladysheva Mariya Genadjevna. The total length of the bike route was 34 km.
