On May 15, 2025, Polessky State University hosted a competition for innovative projects of young developers – PINSK INVEST WEEKEND – 21. 44 participants, including online participants from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan, presented their projects as part of the competition. They all came together to determine the best startup project. Valery Ivanovich Dunai, Rector of Polessky State University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, opened the final of the competition. Sergey Viktorovich Kunitsky, Chairman of the Pinsk City Council of Deputies, addressed the participants of the competition with a welcoming speech.
The event will be remembered by the audience with the presentation of 18 bright projects that were pre-selected and presented research in the field of information technology, tourism, catering, ecology, etc. Students and undergraduates of partner universities also presented their projects, namely: Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies (VGUIT), Rostov State University of Economics (RINH), Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Saratov National Research State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky ", as well as the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
13 projects were submitted for the competition, which were developed by students of Polessky State University.
