From May 18 to 20, 2025, Gomel hosted the IV Republican Forum of Young Scientists of Higher Education Institutions with international participation. The three-day forum brought together students, undergraduates, young scientists from among graduate students and faculty, including representatives of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and representatives of the councils of young scientists of scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences, young scientists and representatives of universities in Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
