A scientific seminar "Actual problems of training reserve athletes" was held at the GrSMU. The scientific seminar was organized by the Department of Medical Rehabilitation of GrSMU and the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of PolesSU. During this seminar, the invited speakers focused on relevant topics related to the preparation of reserve athletes. On the first day of the seminar, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at PolesSU Vitaly Vladimirovich Marinich gave a lecture on the topic "Genetic aspects of sports selection. Modern possibilities of molecular genetic diagnostics in high-performance sports. Genetics of resistance to hypoxia".
Nikolay Kruchinsky, Head of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at PolesSU, delivered a lecture on the topic "Therapeutic use of substances and methods prohibited in sports – procedural issues."
