Within the framework of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, which is celebrated on June 26, Polessky State University hosted a preventive meeting with Evgeniya Stepanovna Kokhnovich, a psychologist at the Pinsk Interdistrict Narcological Dispensary.
Evgeniya Stepanovna spoke about the disappointing statistics on the level of drug addiction and alcoholism in the city, the types of synthetic narcotic drugs and the consequences of their use. She elaborated on the issues of prevention and the need for timely response in cases of suspected use of illegal drugs, and also answered numerous questions from students.
