From August 18 to August 25, 2025, an annual International Seminar on the Study of Biodiversity was held at the Varzob Mining and Botanical Station (VMBS) in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by representatives from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Belarusian delegation from the Educational Institution "Polessky State University" included Maria Mikhailovna Vorobyeva, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, and Ekaterina Igorevna Prilovskaya, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Faculty of Biotechnology.
