On August 25, 2025, the first National School of Rectors opened on the basis of the Belteleradiocompany with a meaningful discussion on "State Youth Policy: challenges and solutions".
Minister of Education Andrey Ivanovich Ivanets took part in the opening ceremony of the Rectors' School "Actual tasks of the development of national Higher education at the present stage", which took place on the basis of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
The main areas of discussion are: State youth policy – how to involve students in university management, strengthen patriotic education and make dialogue with youth open and effective; Quality of education is a key factor in economic growth and technological sovereignty. The emphasis is on advanced training of personnel for the real sector of the economy; the University as an innovation center – the development of research and production clusters, commercialization of research, support for start–ups and high-tech industries; Strategic university management – modern planning tools, personal transformation of rectors and their role in the development of the university. Valery Ivanovich Dunai, Rector of Polessky State University, became a participant in the event.
