On September 6, the "Science Festival 2025" - one of the main events about science and technology in Belarus was held. Polessky State University was represented at this festival by teachers and students of each faculty, organizing an exhibition, master classes and quizzes in their field. Ekaterina Mikhailovna Kolosovskaya, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of PolesSU, Assistant of the Department of Economics and Business, delivered a lecture on "Innovations for the Future: Startups changing society".
At the interactive exhibition of the most significant scientific achievements of young scientists from institutions of higher education within the framework of the Science Festival 2025, PolesSU was represented by the Faculty of Biotechnology with a presentation of a natural sample of mushroom protein. Also, students of the Faculty of Biotechnology conducted the "Secrets of Biology" quest, in which children of different ages gladly participated.
The quiz "Economic ABC" at the festival was conducted. During the interactive quiz, festival participants of all ages were able to plunge into the world of economics and remember, and somewhere learn economic definitions and terms, while receiving sweet prizes.
The master class in Chinese calligraphy was conducted by the Department of Linguistics and Professional Communication. All the participants of the festival expressed a desire to try their hand at calligraphy, and representatives of our university were happy to help them with this, not only telling them how to correctly depict the hieroglyph, but also explaining what it means and how it is pronounced.
As part of the "Science Festival 2025", students of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle conducted "Smart Gymnastics". And for the youngest participants of the festival, our students took a special approach, asking for their favorite song, and then coming up with a fun warm-up for it.
