Students of the 23IT-2 group of the Faculty of Engineering have successfully completed intensive training at the Competence Center of Brest State Technical University. The event took place on September 8-9 as part of the university networking program.
During the two-day program, classes were held on modern equipment using special software. The students immersed themselves in current areas of environmental monitoring and robotics.
The students were particularly interested in the practical part, where they acquired unique skills in controlling autonomous robots in conditions simulating weightlessness. The result of the training was not only a theoretical acquaintance with the latest methods, but also valuable practical experience. The students independently programmed an autonomous robot, worked in the MUR IDE simulator, integrated sensors to monitor water quality, and also learned how to operate underwater vehicles manually, take video recordings, and collect data underwater.
