On September 17, Polessky State University hosted an expanded University Council, which summed up the results of the university's work for the 2024/2025 academic year and set goals for the 2025/2026 academic year. Valery Ivanovich congratulated those present on National Unity Day, noting that the holiday symbolizes unity, patriotism and responsibility for the future of our country.
The certificate of appointment of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus was presented to Dmitry Prokopuk, a third-year student of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization. This high award was a recognition of Dmitry's outstanding academic and research achievements, as well as his active public position.
For conscientious work, effective and high-quality provision of paid services, the Rector of the University presented letters of thanks to the staff of the Center for Physical Culture and Sports and the staff of the Catering Center.
Priority areas of work for the upcoming academic year were also identified, including: improving the quality of education, developing innovation, strengthening ties with enterprises and organizations in the region, as well as creating conditions for the comprehensive development of students' personality.
