A conversation about the great Russian thinker: "Dostoevsky is a writer, philosopher and prophet"

As part of the international spiritual and educational festival "Joy", which takes place from September 21 to October 1 in Pinsk, with the blessing of Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus and Bishop of Pinsk and Luninets George, a meaningful and inspiring conversation on the topic "Dostoevsky: writer, philosopher and prophet" took place at Polessky State University on September 25. The event was organized for students and teachers interested in Russian literature, philosophy and spiritual heritage.

The meeting was held by Archimandrite Melchisidek (Artyukhin), abbot of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Yasenev, press secretary of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Archimandrite noted that Dostoevsky is not just a classic of Russian literature, but also a subtle psychologist, theologian and philosopher, whose ideas are relevant today. His works help modern people to think about the meaning of life, moral choices and spiritual guidelines.
