On October 1, the Day of the Elderly, a charity fair was held at Polessky State University. The event is organized to draw attention to the needs of the elderly, help and support the older generation. Students and teachers enthusiastically took part in the charity event. The funds raised will be used to help the elderly.
Egor Samonov and Alexey Grinevetsky, fighters of the Youth law enforcement unit «Bastion», took an active part in the city action "Let's come to the rescue." The purpose of the campaign is to provide assistance to single citizens, disabled people of groups I and II in preparing housing for the winter period, as well as in cleaning yard territories from garbage and processing household plots. Helping the elderly is not just a sign of respect, but a bridge between generations, a reminder of the value of live communication and mutual support.
