During the visit to Polessky State University, a solemn flower-laying ceremony was held at the monument in honor of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Pinsk. The event was held on Lenin Street and gathered many distinguished guests.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Central Election Commission Igor Vasilyevich Karpenko, Chairman of the Pinsk City Executive Committee Valery Vasilyevich Rebkovets, commander of the Pinsk border detachment, Colonel Sergey Ivanovich Shinkevich, Rector of Polessky State University Valery Ivanovich Dunai.
