On October 21, 2025, a regular meeting of international students of Polessky State University took place with a representative of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. The meeting was attended by Vadim Vasilyevich Rovensky, Deputy Head of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, Mikhail Mikhailovich Zaranko, Vice-rector of PolesSU, Natalia Vladimirovna Aksenchik, Head of the Department of International Relations, and foreign students from Uzbekistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Vietnam, the People's Republic of China, and others.
During the meeting, key aspects of the legal status of foreign citizens in Belarus were touched upon. Vadim Vasilyevich introduced students to the basics of migration policy, rules of behavior in public places and employment opportunities in Belarus during their studies, on vacation and after graduation.
