The Educational Institution Polessky State University, in partnership with the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation, took an active part in the VIII International Fisheries Forum and Seafood Exhibition, which was held from October 22 to 24, 2025 in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum Exhibition Center. The University was represented by Alexey Viktorovich Kozyr, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Aquaculture and Environmental Design.
The event has confirmed its status as the leading business platform of the fishing industry. The discussions focused on global forecasting, aquaculture development, bioeconomics, export potential, and technological modernization of the fishing industry. On an exhibition area exceeding 25,000 sq. m. the leading companies of the industry demonstrated their best achievements and advanced technologies.
