In the period from November 3 to November 7, students and teachers of the Faculty of Engineering of Polessky State University visited Petrozavodsk State University. Under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Aquaculture and Environmental Environment Alexey Viktorovich Kozyr and Alexey Borisovich Shikunets, and Secretary for the BRYU of PolesSU Ksenia Nikolaevna Artemchik, a group of students took part in all the events in the program of the visit. During the work of the International School of Young Scientists, our teachers made presentations on the topics of scientific research of the department and faculty.
Representatives of PolesSU visited the trout hatchery of the Fedorenko fishery enterprise, where they got acquainted with the peculiarities of obtaining and growing trout planting material, as well as the AquaFid feed mill, where the chief technologist of the enterprise presented to the Belarusian delegation the technological features of the production of mixed fish feeds.
The participants of the event visited the iconic tourist sites of Petrozavodsk and the Republic of Karelia: the embankment of Lake Onega, Mount Sampo, the Valley of the Hares, the KarSC Museum of Environmental Research and others.
At the end of the visit, the participants were presented with certificates and symbolic gifts.
