On November 25, 2025, as part of the "Zero Injury Week", Polessky State University hosted a training seminar "Striving for zero injury in sports", which was attended by teachers and staff of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization.
In order to prevent injury among students, Tatyana Astapovich, a leading occupational safety engineer, reminded the seminar participants of the need to comply with occupational safety requirements for field event managers, teaching staff accompanying students to a cultural event, conducting targeted briefings with supervisors and completing relevant documentation by supervisors.
Special attention was paid to safety issues at the university's sports facilities. Tatiana Alexandrovna explained the rules for investigating and accounting for accidents that occurred to students while mastering the content of educational programs. She explained in detail the algorithm of actions in case of an accident or injury.
