The PolesSU team took part in the XV International Olympiad "World Wars in the History of Mankind", organized by Gomel State University named after F. Skorina. The event was held remotely by the Department of History of Belarus of the Gomel State University named after F. Skoriny.
In total, 60 teams from higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation participated in the Olympiad. The students had to show their knowledge of the history of the First and Second World Wars, and the speed and accuracy of the teams' responses were evaluated. According to the results of the international Olympiad, the PolesSU team took the 2nd place among the teams of non-historical specialties.
