On November 27, 2025, the educational institution "Polessky State University" hosted the final game of the university stage of the republican contest "All-Belarusian Debate League". The venue of the event was the cultural and entertainment center of the dormitory No. 5 of PolesSU.
The organizer and moderator was Vladimir Vladimirovich Makarushko, senior lecturer at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, chairman of the primary organization of the PolesSU ”Belaya Rus".
All faculties of the university took part in the competition. The event was held under the slogan ”We are together".
The players demonstrated critical thinking, public communication, teamwork, and socialization skills. They also developed the skills of systematizing large amounts of information, acquiring knowledge in the field of argumentation and the art of conducting critical discussion, and developing and improving communication skills in situations of interpersonal and professional communication.
