Within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference "Biotechnology: Achievements and Development Prospects", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Polessky State University, a lecture was given by Natalia Gulyaeva, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Functional Biochemistry of the Nervous System at the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The lecture "Stroke formation: unfulfilled hopes, translation problems and prospects" touched upon the fundamental and applied aspects of neuroscience, aroused keen interest among students, teachers and researchers.
During her speech, Professor Gulyaeva highlighted modern approaches to studying the pathogenesis of stroke, the complexity of transferring experimental data into clinical practice, and outlined promising areas of research.
