On December 9, 2025, a thematic meeting dedicated to the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide was held at the Faculty of Engineering for first-year students. Vladimir Vladimirovich Makarushko, Chairman of PolesSU department of the primary organization “Belaya Rus”, Senior lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, addressed the future engineers.
In his speech, he highlighted key historical issues related to the tragedy of the genocide in world history and on Belarusian soil. Vladimir Vladimirovich stressed the importance of preserving historical memory, the inadmissibility of rewriting history and the need to pay tribute to the victims of such crimes against humanity.
