On December 16, 2025, the interuniversity stage of the Republican Youth project "100 Ideas for Belarus" took place in Brest.
The aim of the project is to provide students with the opportunity to realize their talents and ideas, increase motivation, and also contribute to the formation of perseverance and determination in solving non–standard tasks for the benefit of the Motherland. The jury of the regional stage included representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Council of Young Scientists, and vice-rectors of all universities in the first region. From Polessky State University – Vice-rector for Scientific Work, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Vitaly Tadeushevich Cheshevik.
For each presentation, experts and participants asked additional questions, gave advice and recommendations. As a result, 13 projects passed through to the next round, 2 of them were developed by students of PolesSU.
