On February 4, 2026, students of the Faculty of Engineering met with Yuri Yakovlevich Pichugin, Chairman of the Pinsk Water Rescue Society, at Polessky State University.
During the event, Yuri Yakovlevich spoke about the specifics of the work of rescuers in winter and the main tasks of ensuring safety on the water.
The chairman also drew attention to the danger of ice: it is necessary to be extremely careful when moving on slippery sidewalks and roads, choose safe shoes and avoid sudden movements to prevent falls and injuries.
