On February 11, the Faculty of Engineering held a meeting with Yuri Yakovlevich Pichugin, Chairman of the Pinsk city organization "Belarusian Union of Officers", and Nikolai Nikolaevich Tikhonov, Chairman of the Pinsk Council of Military Seamen.
Yuri Yakovlevich spoke about the history of the development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, gave examples from his own service. He paid special attention to the concepts that, in his opinion, form the basis of military service: DUTY, HONOR, FATHERLAND. The chairman urged future servicemen not to be afraid of difficulties, because army training helps to overcome any challenges, builds character, and teaches to make responsible decisions in the most difficult situations.
