The Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus is celebrated annually on February 23. This is a day of remembrance, courage and heroism of all generations of defenders of the Fatherland who defended the independence of their native land. The solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Memorial Complex to the Liberators of Pinsk, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, was attended by Rector Valery Ivanovich Dunai, staff and students of Polessky State University.
