Polessky State University is one of the youngest higher education institutions in the Republic of Belarus, however, it already demonstrates high dynamics of institutional development. The material and technical base of the university makes a favorable impression: the infrastructure meets modern requirements, and the presence of a well‑developed sports complex indicates a systematic approach to creating conditions for comprehensive student training.
During the visit, a creative program was presented, including a performance by the dance group Solimar University Folk Studio for lovers of Latin American culture. The performance, based on elements of the Latin American cultural tradition, was distinguished by professionalism and sincerity, which emphasizes the importance of intercultural interaction in the educational environment and the high level of educational work of the university.
Polessky State University is developing in a wide range of areas, from educational and scientific initiatives to cultural and international projects. This multidisciplinary approach creates a significant potential for expanding cooperation with universities in the Republic of Cuba.
Academic mobility of teachers and students, the implementation of joint research programs, as well as participation in international projects aimed at strengthening scientific and educational ties seem promising. The opportunities for cooperation are substantial, and the Cuban side expresses its willingness to discuss them further.
