On March 14, 2026, the Department of Economics and Business hosted the Olympiad on the basics of economics "Economic ABC", which was attended by 10th and 11th grade students from different parts of our country. Senior lecturer of the department Anastasia Anatolyevna Vasilevskaya, together with the students of the faculty, organized the final stage of the Olympiad and showed the high school students what PolesSU has to offer. A rich program was prepared for the guests of the university: in addition to completing the Olympiad tasks, future applicants were able to get to know the university better. Faculty activists conducted an exciting tour of the university facilities, classrooms and a modern dormitory for the participants.
The participants of the Olympiad highly appreciated hospitality and the level of the material and technical base of the university. Many of the students expressed their sincere desire to continue participating in events organized by the Faculty of Economics and Finance. Summing up the meeting, Anastasia Anatolyevna invited the students to the next Open Day, and told about the opportunity to demonstrate their skills at the spring startup camp, which is traditionally organized at the Faculty of Economics and Finance.
