On March 19, 2026, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, Rector of Polessky State University, Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, together with the University's activists visited the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex.
During the visit, the delegation of PolesSU laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the heroic defenders of the fortress who gave their lives in the early days of the Great Patriotic War.
The trip became an important part of the patriotic education of students, reminding them of the importance of preserving historical memory and respecting the heroic deeds of generations who defended their Homeland.
