On March 21, 2026, Polessky State University held an Open Day as part of the nationwide career guidance campaign "I choose a profession."
The event gathered more than 500 participants and became a platform for direct interaction between applicants, the educational sector and employers of the region. The Rector of the University, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
Valery Ivanovich presented the university's development strategy, emphasizing the priorities in training specialists for key sectors of the economy and outlining the prospects offered by studying at PolesSU. In the solemn part of the event, the winners of the University Olympiad were awarded.
35 organizations participated in the work of the site. Representatives of the enterprises confirmed the steady demand for graduates of economic, biological, sports and engineering profiles.
The event included an exhibition of faculties and organizations.
Representatives of the faculties told the applicants and their parents in detail about the areas of study, the specifics of admission and the possibilities of targeted education. The participants received up-to-date information about the admission campaign.
A rich interactive program was organized for the participants: - thematic cases and business games, - master classes, including Chinese calligraphy class, ‑ visits to branded classrooms, industry laboratories, and university sports facilities.
