There is another bright achievement of the Faculty of Engineering of Polessky State University. Daria Strok, a 4th-year student of the specialty Linguistic Support of Intercultural Communication, was awarded a Diploma of the II degree at the VI International Essay Contest in Russian and foreign languages "Be worthy of the Memory of the Fallen!" dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day, which took place from February 5 to March 2, 2026.
The competition, organized by Yaroslavl State Technical University, brought together many talented participants who sought to express their connection with history, respect for the feat of their ancestors and understanding of the value of peace through words. Daria represented our university, demonstrating not only a high level of language proficiency, but also the depth of thought, the ability to feel and convey the most important moral categories in an essay.
