From March 23 to March 27, 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Finance hosted a spring startup camp for students of 10-11th grades, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the university.
Five days of intensive training allowed the students to immerse themselves in the world of entrepreneurship, listen to a series of lectures and take part in practical training seminars from faculty teachers, student activists and develop their own startup project.
Alexey Borisovich Rudenko, a methodologist at the Department of Ideological and Educational Work, introduced the guests to the university's museum rooms, the history of the university and the development of the banking system in Belarus.
Ekaterina Mikhailovna Kolosovskaya held a training seminar "Financial and economic information about the project" where students were able to calculate the financial part of their potential projects. Students of the Department of Banking and Financial Markets conducted a training seminar for students "Financial literacy - how to protect yourself and your business", where they discussed in detail the basics of finance, possible sources of capital and what mistakes can be avoided with proper business planning.
The final day of the startup camp was held on Friday, March 27. Students of the Department of Economics and Business spoke about the specialties of the faculty and the advantages of studying at the university, as well as conducted an interactive quiz "Economic ABC.
Thanks to the rich program, the participants of the startup camp not only gained in-depth knowledge on the creation and development of startup projects, but also were able to experience the atmosphere of university student life.
